01From Buenos Aires to the World Tour
I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where tennis wasn't just a sport — it was a way of life. My father Jorge made coaching his career, and tennis shaped everything about how our family thought: preparation, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of better. I came to the United States to play college tennis at Florida Atlantic University, where I earned my degree in finance while competing for the team.
After graduation, my coaching caught the attention of the USTA. In 2012, they brought me on as a National Coach for Women's Tennis — one of the most competitive programs in the world. Two years later, I was named USTA National Coach of the Year.
02The Gold Medal Moment
In 2015, I left the USTA to work directly with Monica Puig, a young player from Puerto Rico with extraordinary talent and an even more extraordinary competitive spirit. We worked together every day — preparing for the biggest matches of her career.
Then came Rio. August 2016. Monica walked into the Olympic tournament as an unseeded player and beat four top-10 opponents in a row. In the gold medal match, she defeated the world's No. 2 player to win Puerto Rico's first Olympic gold medal in any sport. I was in her corner for every single one of those matches.
I've been asked many times what that moment felt like. The honest answer: it felt like everything we had worked for had meant something. That's a feeling I never forget — and it's the standard I hold myself to every day.
03Why Insurance. Why Sunrise.
After Rio, I continued coaching at the highest level — including returning to work with Madison Keys, one of the top American players on the WTA Tour. But when my daughter Lara was born, my priorities changed.
Professional tennis had given me an incredible career. But it also meant spending most of the year traveling from tournament to tournament around the world. I didn't want to watch my daughter grow up from airports and hotel rooms. So I made a difficult decision: I stepped away from the career I had spent my life building and started a new chapter — one that would let me be home with my family.
With my background in finance, insurance was a natural fit. More importantly, it was another business built on something I understood very well: trust. The same trust a player puts in their coach when they're down a set in an Olympic final.
In 2020, I opened my insurance agency in Sunrise, Florida. What makes our agency different: we are not limited to one company. We have access to over 30 insurance carriers for home, auto, commercial, and specialty coverage. That means we shop the market for you — and we don't stop until we find the right fit.
